               During WWII, many people were not allowed to purchase many things. As a result, many families had a lot of cash held on to, for buying houses and other things. After the war, television was added to the list of things that were in very high demand. It also occured in England a few years after America. Around the 1950's, color television was brought around. Along with this was the invention of remote controls, which have both led to some very serious technological advancements.
